ENERGY COMMITTEE MEETING GROUP

he CMSSA Energy Committee Meeting Group (ECMG) is a group that has been tasked with developing and submitting energy standards to determine the sustainability roadmap for the digital asset industry. This committee will be involved in creating energy usage and consumption standards for Web3, on-chain carbon credits, stablecoins, centralized and decentralized exchanges, government and private sector blockchains, and all other future platforms built on distributed ledger technologies.

CRYPTOCURRENCY COMMITTEE MEETING GROUP

The CMSSA Bitcoin Committee Meeting Group (BCMG) has been appointed to present the energy standards and create a sustainability roadmap for the Proof of Work Bitcoin mining industry. Comprised of CMSSA members from both the private sector, government agencies, and research institutions; this committee is responsible for researching current energy consumption in relation to bitcoin proof-of-work mining while formulating an action plan that reduces its environmental footprint.

The committee is tasked with proposing the adoption of innovative technologies, conducting research, and creating policy initiatives to minimize the environmental impacts of Bitcoin mining. It is also in charge of collaborating with industry participants to guarantee that all energy standards are met and maintain compliance with the sustainability roadmap. At its core, this committee's mission is to guarantee that by 2040, every aspect related to Bitcoin Mining operates sustainably and moves towards carbon neutrality.
